I will put some of the chain Emails I receive here if and only if I think they have good advice or otherwise offer some noteworthy suggestion. I hate chain emails as they tie up bandwith on the Internet, making everything slower for all of us.

If you like something you see here, please print it out and give a hard copy or, if you must send an email, send a link to this topic instead. The smaller the email, the less bandwidth it consumes.

Don't Break The Elastic!!

In April, Maya Angelou was interviewed by Oprah on her 70+ birthday.

Oprah asked her what she thought of growing older.

And, there on television, she said it was "exciting." Regarding body changes, she said there were many, occurring every day...like her breasts. They seem to be in a race to see which will reach her waist first.

The audience laughed so hard they cried. She is such a simple and honest woman, with so much wisdom in her words!

Maya Angelou said this:

If you don't...the elastic will break and your underpants will fall down around your ankles! ;-) Believe me, I didn't take any chances on MY elastic breaking...I gave it to a lot of special women I care for.

One More For Your Christmas Card List

***** PLEASE READ ON BEFORE JUST DELETING THIS *****

This is not an attempt at a religious statement, rather an attempt to let them know that Christmas is viewed as a tradition. I have Jewish friends, Atheist friends, Agnostic Friends and every last one in someway observes the holiday in one way or another. With only one except, ALL of them have a Christmas Tree (it may only be a plastic 18 inch one) and give gifts to those they care about. And really, will changing the name make people think of anything else when they are at home with the day off? Or even worse, having to work and it is CHRISTMAS day? The ACLU is an important watchdog of civil liberties; however, let us have some traditions left.

Please add the ACLU to your Christmas Card List ... I added them to mine ...

Have some fun and do something really worthwhile too!

Wanna have some fun this CHRISTMAS? Send the ACLU a CHRISTMAS CARD! Add them to your Christmas card list now.

As they are working so very hard to get rid of the CHRISTMAS part of this holiday, we should all send them a nice, CHRISTIAN, card to brighten up their dark, sad, little world. Make sure it says "Merry Christmas" on it.

Two tons of Christmas cards would shake up their operations because they wouldn't know if any were regular mail containing contributions. So spend 39 cents and tell the ACLU to leave Christmas alone. Also, tell them that there is no such thing as a Holiday Tree. . . . It's a Christmas Tree even in the fields!!

And pass this on to your friends. We really want to communicate with the ACLU.
