Ref: Stopping Heather

Does this sound like a phone call you've received lately?
“Hello. This is Heather at account services. And we’re calling in reference to your current credit card account. There’s no problems currently with your account. It is urgent however that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rate. Your eligibility expires shortly. So please consider this your final notice. Please press one now on your phone to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rate. Or press two to discontinue further notices. Thank you and have a great day.”

If so, you may wish to visit the above Blog and pass on any information you have to try to help stop these pests. I was recently called from a company claiming to be Account Services from the Caller ID number Unknown at 1-305-770-1116 with the same spiel as above. The name used was different but the content was verbatim, word for word. As far as I'm concerned, these people are scammers and are only interested in transferring money from our pockets into theirs. I will gladly help anyone who has any idea how to stop them.
