Map Icons

There are a large number of icons that appear on the map as you come within range of certain things. You can go into the map options and choose to show only certain categories of these icons or none at all if you want.

I guessed what some of these icons stood for an others I haven't a clue, so if anyone wants to either correct an error I have made or let me know what the ones I've missed are please contact me.

	Your character's current location.	Your hireling's current location. Also signifies any escort NPCs.	Your mount's current location (horse or special mount).
	Your summoned creature(s)' current location.	Other players in MP (only appears in areas you have already discovered).	Other players in PVP.
Quest Related Icons
	Compass arrow for the currently active character quest. (Selected in the quest log).	Compass arrow for the main quest.	Compass arrow for the currently active side quest. (Selected in the quest log).
	Character quest giver.	Main quest giver.	Side quest giver.
	Character quest reward giver.	Main quest reward giver.	Side quest reward giver.
	Character quest target location.	Currently active character quest target location.	Main quest target location.
	Side quest target location.	Currently active side quest target location.	This icon appears when there is a quest item laying on the ground.
	Completed quest.	Failed quest.
NPC Icons
	Blacksmith.	Captain.	Combo Master.
	Horse Dealer.	Mercenary.	Merchant.
	Priest.
Opponent Icons
	Normal opponent.	Champion opponent.	Boss opponent.
	Quest opponent.	Slain opponent.
Point of Interest Icons
	Entrance to a cave, tunnel, jail or any other dungeon.	Player chest.	Portal.
	Activated resurrection monolith.	Not activated resurrection monolith.	Ship.
	Push pin icon that you can place on your world map to mark any location you want, only one push pin can be on your map at a time.	Instant travel drop location. (To explain: similar to the small rowboat in S1 on Pirate Island that instantly brought you to Hatchet Crab Island.)
